William "Bill" Glenn Carrico, 76, of Cahokia, Illinois, born July 1, 1946 in Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022,at home surrounded by his family.

Bill was retired from Edison Pipe in Granite City, IL... He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran, Bill loved being around his family and always looked forward to family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Glenn Carrico; his parents, Joseph S. and Mary E., nee Hobbs, Carrico; a brother, James S. Carrico; and two nephews, Jimmy and Derick Carrico.

Surviving are his three daughters, Autumn "Sha" Green, Charmarie Lynn Hancock and Erin (Eric) Kritz; five brothers, Larry J. (Donna), John E. (Rosemary), Phillip A, (Lynne), Ken C. (Tina), and Mark E. (Debby) Carrico; two sisters, Janet (David) Neel and Sharon (Robert) Megee; and three grandchildren. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.

Bill's family would like to give special thanks to Bill's former wife and best friend, Mary Jo Grob for taking care of him during his illness. Also, special thanks to the care givers at Hospice of Southern Illinois for their thoughtful care of Bill.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral procession to leave from the funeral home to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, for a an 11:00 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial with Father Carl Scherrer officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
