Wayne T. Henley, 82, of Cahokia, Illinois, formerly of Columbus, Kentucky, born December 28, 1938 in Fulton, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Liberty Village in Maryville, Illinois.

Wayne was retired from General Motors in Wentzville, MO after 38 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the UAW Local 282 of Hazelwood, MO; American Legion Post 485 of Dupo, IL; and the NRA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Verna, nee Adams, Henley.

Surviving are his children, Rodger (Dianna) Henley of Dupo, IL and Lori (Clark) Moore of Saulsbury, NC; a sister, Vicki Henley; a grandchild; a niece, Christina Gilbert; a great nephew, Brenden Gilbert; and cousins and friends.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Brian Mixon officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Nationa Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
