Wanda L. McCraw, nee Helling, 78, of Cahokia, Illinois, born August 8, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Wanda was retired from the former Q-Mart in Cahokia, IL and was previous employed by Bussman Fuse in St. Louis, MO. She was an avid animal lover and bird feeder. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cecilia, nee Brueggmann, Helling; a sister, Patricia Welch; and a great granddaughter, Logan Branham.

Surviving are her children, Robert Boyer of Lake St. Louis, MO, Scott Boyer of Jacksonville, FL, Keith (Sandra) Boyer of Granite City, IL, Raymond "Butchie" McCraw of Cahokia, IL, Amanda (Michael) Neely of Belleville, IL, and Tiffany McCraw of Cahokia, IL; two sisters, Betty Schenk of St. Louis, MO and Diane Harget of St. Charles, MO; a brother, Charles (Debra) Helling of Union, MO; 15 grandchildren, Jasmine, Brailia, Taylor, Autumn, Ben, Nicholas, Jacob, Jamie, Ryan, Erika, Stephen, Faith, Madison, Dominic, and Chance; and 11 great grandchildren. She was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. A Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In following Wanda's wishes a cremation was to be done.
