Thomas Murl Harris passed away Wednesday, April 6th at his residence. Tom graduated at the top of his class from Assumption Catholic High School. Tom was proud to be a railroader, but nothing made him prouder than his children Murl Thomas and Jamie.  Anyone who knew Tom would describe him in one word as a "character". He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He was the epitome of one man's trash is another's treasure. Tom was a collector of just about anything. His fashion sense was one to be remembered — bib overalls and flip-flops. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Virginia Harris, and brother Don Harris. Surviving is his wife of 42 years Kathy Harris, daughter Jamie (Matt) Klopmeyer and son Murl Thomas William Harris, granddaughters Chloe and Phoebe Klopmeyer, sister Joann (Scott) Pfister of Beaverton, OR, nieces; Rhonda Plew, Megan Benson, Teesha Chilton, and nephews; Chad Harris, Eric Rolerkite, Brandon Harris, great-nephews; Bain Plew, Kobin Harris, Jasper Harris, Oakley Rolerkite, Harris Benson and Jaxon Rolerkite; a great-niece; Belle Plew, many cousins, and countless friends.

The family will have a private celebration of life.
