Thomas O. Breckenridge, 91, of Dupo, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born September 5, 1926, died Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Freeburg Care Center.

Thomas was retired from Phillips Pipeline in Cahokia, IL. He was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dupo, IL and East Lodge 504 A.F. & A.M. of Fairview Heights, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Cora, nee Poe, Breckenridge and a sister, Esther Beaty.

Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Betty Jean Brackenridge, nee Koss; his sons, Terry (Diane) Breckenridge of Theodosia, MO and Randy (Robin) Breckenridge of Dupo, IL; two grandchildren, Tracy Breckenridge and Mike (Rose) Egmon and three great grandchildren, Alex Livingood and Joshua and Gabby Egmon. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.



Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Dupo Building Fund.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home,with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
