Susan L. Schillinger, nee White, 74, of Valmeyer, Illinois,born February 9, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at her residence.

Susan was retired from Commercial Letter in St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed doing craft projects and going to thrift stores.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Juanita, nee Cooley, White; a great nephew, Brenden Colvin; and two great great nieces, Brenleigh Colvin and Callie Latner.

Surviving are her brother, Tom (Cathy) White of Cahokia, IL; two sisters, Pat and Melba White, both of St. Louis, MO; two nieces, Jennifer and Stephanie White, both of Dupo, IL; a great niece, Lauren; and a great nephew, Brayden; and a great great nephew, Calvin.

A private cremation was to be held with a Celebration of Life Service to planned for a later date.

Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois was entrusted with the care of Susan Schillinger.
