Steven James Bachmann 54 of Cahokia, IL., born February 17, 1971 at Scott Air-Force Base in Belleville, IL., passed away on January 15, 2026 in Cahokia, IL.

Steven was a deck mate for 20 years on the river,

Preceded in death by his parents Hugo & Jacqueline nee Eckelkamp, Bachmann. 1 Brother Brian Bachmann. His grandparents.

Surviving are his Siblings: Vivian (Timothy) Wilkins of Roxana, IL., John Bachmann of Cahokia, IL. He was a dear uncle, great uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Private cremation services were held and his ashes were interred with his family at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
