Stephen Edward Norman, 32, of Joliet, Illinois, formerly of Dupo, Illinois, born May 11, 1988 in Belleville, Illinois, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, in Kankakee, Illinois.

Stephen was employed by Dutch American Foods in Beecher, IL. He loved to read and write, but most of all, he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Loretta Dalton; grandfather, Thomas L. Norman; snd three aunts, Peggy J. Colvin, Laura A.(Ronni Mahon, and Michelle Rosa Rivero.

Surviving are his mother, KIm Skaggs of Dupo, IL; his father, Jerry (Carolyn) Norman of Belleville, IL; his girl friend, Raquel of Joliet, IL; three sisters, Abbi Kenner of Dupo, IL, Lauren Colvin-Leslie of Cahokia, IL, and Payton Norman of Collinsville, IL; ; a brother, Brandon (Dana) Norman of St. Louis, MO; grandmother, Ruth Norman of Swansea, IL; special cousins, Coby Lewis of Ironton, MO, Ashley Gonzalez of St. Louis, MO,Mark Colvin of Swansea, IL, Paul Colvin of Dupo, IL,Chad Barbee of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, and Jeff Skaggs of Dupo, IL; and a very dear friend, Heather Leslie of Cahokia, IL. Stephen was also a dear nephew cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. All services will follow CDC guidelines with masks and six feet social distancing being required. A private cremation will follow.
