Star Leigh Elms, infant daughter of Brian and Theresa El ms II, of Waterloo, IL. born into Heaven on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Mercy Hospital-South.

Star was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Nancy McBurnett; great grandfathers, Harold Musskopf and Larry Elms; great great grandparents, Jack and Ruby McBurnett, and two second cousins, Devin Weldon and Crystal Weaver.

Along with her parents, Brian and Theresa, she is survived by a brother, Brian Lee Elms, III; her grandparents, Samantha Jones, Eric Goforth, Karie Darnell and Todd Miller; her great grandmother, Carol Musskopf; great great grandmother, Margaret Jones; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home, with Father Linus Umoren officiating. A private cremation was held.
