Shirley R. Sager, 85 of East Carondelet, IL, born April 14, 1939 in Carbondale, IL, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Shirley was a member of Bethany Church in Columbia, IL. She retired from Parks College in Cahokia, IL as an administrative assistant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Sager; parents, Raymond and Dorcas Ross, nee Baggett.

Surviving are her daughters, Julie (Greg) Drago of Oakville, MO, Cindy (Gary) McBride of Dupo, IL and Lisa (Jerry) Peterson of Valmeyer, IL; a sister, Clara Hosler of Cahokia, IL; six grandchildren, Brian, Beth, Jess, Alex, Kylie and Cory; eight great grandchildren.  She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steven Barrett officiating. Burial at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Belleville, IL.
