Shirley C. Johnson, nee Gray, 84, of Cahokia, IL, born July 23, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in Swansea, IL.

Shirley was retired from Walmart in Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.M. Johnson; parents, Marion and Lois, ne Endicott, Gray Sr.; daughter, Linda Gray; brother, Marion Gray Jr.; sisters, Linda Summers, Eileen Sanders,and Barbara Jean Mowery.

Surviving are her children, Jeff Johnson of Granite City, IL, Lisa Gray and Tim Johnson both of Cahokia, IL; sisters, Carol Monterusso, Janice Pasnokot, Sharon Durley, and Sandie Groom; grandchildren, Renee Gray, Matthew Gray, and J.J. Johnson. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church Belleville, IL. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Scott Baker officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Belleville, IL.
