Sheila R. Stevenson, nee Mitchell, 69, of O'Fallon, Illinois, born March 9, 1955 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Sheila was employed by Lanter Delivery Systems in Madison, IL. She enjoyed crocheting ; doing any kind of craft projects; and watching ME TV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stevenson; a son, Steven LeTempt; a daughter, Sherry Mitchell; her parents, Frank and Bonnie Mitchell, nee Tarant; two brothers, Darold and Gerald Mitchell; and a sister, Christina Mitchell.

Surviving are her sons, Scott (Sherrie) Stevenson of O'Fallon, IL. Jesse (Amanda) Stevenson of Belleville, IL, and William (Nichole) Stevenson of Cahokia, IL; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the funeral home, with Pastor Chance officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
