Ronald J. Mueller, 88, of Worden, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born March 29, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Alhambra Care Center.

Ron was retired from McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, MO, after 42 years. He was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran and a member of Knights of Columbus Council 4596 in Cahokia, IL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Mueller, nee Dahmer; his parents, Leslie and Mary, nee Smith, Mueller; four sisters, Betty Allen, Rose Marie Neal, Mary Castaneo, and Patsy Miller; and a granddaughter, Kayliegh Jacqueline Mueller.

Surviving are three sons, Christopher (Joy) Mueller of Michigan, Gregory (Wendy) Mueller of Worden, IL, and Matthew (Sherry) Mueller of Columbia, IL; a brother, Frank Mueller of Highland, IL; 11 grandchildren, Carl (Lauren) Mueller, Elaine Mueller, Alissa (Jeremy) Boreman, Jamie Douthit, Josh Mueller, Shane Mueller, Jenna Morris, Bryce (Alex) Mueller, Bret Mueller, Daniel Blaylock, and Sheridan Blaylock; and 14 great grandchildren. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Funeral procession to leave at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 from the funeral home to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. for burial with Military Honors.
