Ronald C. Funk, 64, of East Carondelet, IL., born December 24, 1952 in Evansville, IN., passed away on Saturday January 21, 2017 at his residence.

Ronald was retired after 32 years from Big Rivers Zinc, Sauget, IL. and from ConAgra Foods, St. Louis, MO. He was President of St. Clair County Anglers Association.

He was preceded in death by 1st., wife Linda Marie Funk; his parents, William and Helen, nee Horr, Funk; two brothers, William, Jr., and Larry Funk; two steps son Norman W. and Brian L. Sheble.

Surviving are his wife Jeris Funk, nee Steahle; daughter Tascha (Joe) Spagna of Stockholm, N.J.; son Ronald W. (Suzanne) Funk of Dupo, IL.; step sons, Ronald C. (Tammie) Brown of Waterloo, IL.; grandchildren, Steven, Randy, Elena, Maura and Elizabeth. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Visitation on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, IL. from 4 to 8 P.M. and on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am

Funeral service 10 A.M. on Thursday January 26, 2017 at the funeral home with Father Linus Umoren officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Brussels, IL.
