Ronald Leon Burkett, 79, of Columbia, Illinois, born October 13, 1946 in Charleston, Missouri, died Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Nexus at Columbia Care Center,

Ronald was a retired self employed Acoustic Ceiling Installer. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Burkett, nee Archer and his parents, Lonnie and Virginia, nee Armstrong, Burkett.

Surviving his brother, Danny (Barbara) Burkett of Freeburg, IL. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Cumberland Furnace Cemetery, Dickson County, Tennessee.
