Richard S. Creekpaum, 56, of Cahokia, IL, born July 16, 1965 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard D. and Rose Creekpaum, nee Gamache; grandmother, Rose Tubbs; grandparents, Theodore and Genevie Creekpaum; nephew, Ryan Skaggs; Rick Calahan and Steven Fadler Jr.

Surviving are his children, Danielle (Antoine) Musgrave of Cahokia, IL, Gregory, Courtney and Alexander Creekpaum all of Granite City, IL; two brothers, Tad Creekpaum of Cahokia, IL and David Skaggs of DuQuion, IL; sister, Deana Creekpaum of Cahokia, IL; Eight grandchildren, Keanielle, Aubrie, Alyvia, Aliza, Lucas, Julius, Averie and Daxton; companion of 15 years, Paula Douglas of Granite City, IL. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral Service will follow.
