Phyllis Marie Latinette, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the age 0f 80.  She was born on September 22, 1943 in Est St. Louis, Illinois.

Phyllis loved animals and would often donate to the Humane Society.  She also loved her family, that was her greatest joy.  She even got a tattoo that said family.  Her legacy of love, kindness and faith will continue to live in our hearts.  May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones in the arms of her heavenly father.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Della Collins; her father, Richard Latinette; grandmother, Myrtle; two brothers, Rick and Steve Latinette; a grandson, Dustin Todd; and a great great grandson, Bentley Crase.

She is survived by a son, Larry (Linda) Harper; four daughters, Kathy Bailey, Cheryl (Ernie) Sutton, Sue (Chris) Haney, and Kim Hurd; four brothers; four sisters; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.  She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

In following her wishes a private cremation was to take place.  A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Father Linus Umoren officiating.
