Paula Ann Wainwright, 67, died at her home on Sunday, September 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Paula was born April 12, 1954, in E. Saint Louis

. Paula loved her family, close friends and colleagues. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, working and traveling with her husband, John. She was employed at Washington University for the last 25 years in Physician Billing Services.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mary Pauline Eichacker; mother in-law, Billie Wainwright; two brothers, Eugene Eichacker, Jr. and Edward Eichacker (and his wife, Ruth Ann);
brother in-law, Edward 'Bud' Dudley; and John's grandson, Kaleb Nadler.

Paula is survived by her loving husband, John C. Wainwright of Millstadt, IL; her two daughters, Tracy (Michael) Donnelly of Millstadt, IL and Kelley (Jeffrey) Atchison of Centralia, IL; four grandchildren, Alexander (Alex) Donnelly of Lakeland, FL and Aiden Donnelly of Millstadt, IL; Jane Ann and Katherine Atchison of Centralia, IL. She is also survived by her siblings, Allan (Kathy) Eichacker of Edwardsville, IL; Cecilia (William) Podhrasky and Carol (Jerry) Faris, all of Millstadt, IL; sisters in-law, Lynda Eichacker and Sharon Wainwright Dudley; nieces and nephews, Scott (Carrie) Eichacker, Jeff (Jean) Eichacker, Patrick Ricke, Joseph (Michelle) Eichacker, Ronald Eichacker, Richard Eichacker, James Eichacker, Dawn Greicar, Christa (Robbie) Williams, Alicia (Chris) Erwin, Michelle (James) Miles, Patty (Robert) Smith, Andrew (Jessica) Keck, Samuel (Jo) Keck, Kimberly (Mark Grossman) Podhrasky, B.J. (Amy Welch) Podhrasky, Amy (Eric) Edgar, Stephanie (Dan) Schulte, Sara (Bobby) Siebert; many great nieces, great nephews; and John's children, Angie (Michael) Dill of Fairview Heights, IL; Kelly (Jay) Belt, O'Fallon, IL; and Zachary Wainwright, Smithton, IL and their children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Association (SLOCA), Millstadt Library or the Charity of your choice.

Visitation will be on Wednesday September 15, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd Columbia, IL.

A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:00 am for a mass of Christian burial at 11:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL, with Father Osang Indagbo officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks natl. Cemetery.
