Patty Jean Gulley, nee Russom, 90, of Cahokia, Illinois, born August 24, 1933 in Illmo, Missouri, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Patty was a member of Living Waters Church in Cahokia, IL.  She loved her God and worshipping at her church.  She also enjoyed going shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Dora, nee Simmons, Gulley, a son, Michael Gulley; a brother, Bob Russom; a sister, Nelda Ferguson; and a daughter-in-law, Daryl Gulley.

Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Melvin Z. Gulley; her children, Melvin (Judy) Gulley of Lakeland, FL, Gregory Gulley of Dupo, IL, Lisa (Harry Koehler) Turley of Cahokia, IL, and Rebecca (Ben) Black of Midwest City, OK; a sister, Virginia Davidson of Laakeland, FL; a sister-in-law, Marties McLane of Lakeland, FL; ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or Living Waters Church.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating.  Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
