Patsy J. Rodgers, 87 of Cahokia, IL, born August 18, 1937 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 at her residence.

Patsy was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Rodgers; parents, Everett and Ethel Robinson; six brothers, Arthur, Howard, Orville, Emil Anderson, Jackie and Bobbie Robinson; five sisters, Frieda Brown, Louise Mooney, Betty Antoff, Doris Onstott and Melba Pathenos; granddaughter, Heather Wallace and great grandson, Oakley Wisdom.

Surviving are her sons, William Sharp of Cahokia, IL and Joel (Tammie) Sharp of Marissa, IL; sister, Joann Knight of Villa Hills, IL; grandchildren, Shannon, Sean, Billy, Amy, Joel Jr. and Amber; numerous great grandchildren. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM with Pastor Dr. David Wright officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis, MO.
