PATRICIA A. LIGHTFOOT, nee Crow, 79, of Cahokia, Illinois, born October 8, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Lightfoot retired from Cerro Copper in Sauget, IL. She also worked at the Cahokia Pool and Ice Rink and the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cahokia, IL. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris D. Lightfoot; a daughter, Regina DuFrenne; her parents, Raymond and Rose, nee Aleksick, Crow; and a brother, Donald Crow.

Surviving are her children, Renee Butler of Dupo, IL and Randy (Monica) Lightfoot of New Baden, IL; eight grandchildren, Jameson, Melissa, and Kaitlyn Butler, T.J. Van Ness, Bryndan and Alyssa Lightfoot, Ashley Widman, and Sydney DuFrenne; and four great grandchildren, Jesse, Jayden, Tramar, and Senyah. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. of Friday, January 13, 2017, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Father William McGee officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
