Patricia "Pat" G. Beckner, nee Sampson, 81 of Sorento, Illinois, born April 19, 1935 in Cruise, Missouri, passed Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Beckner was an avid quilt maker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Beckner; her parents Walter and Justine, nee Villmer, Sampson; four brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are her children, Lonnie(Maria) Grammer of Sorento, IL, Kenneth Grammer of Collinsville, IL and David (Rebecca) Beckner of Belleville, IL; a brother, Jake Sampson; two sisters, Joan Vaughn and Joyce Harris; four grandchildren, Angela (Shawn), Patricia (Ryan), Anthony and Alyssa; and seven great grandchildren, Quinton, Connor, Jordan, Marlee ,Chase, Grayson and Laci. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Funeral procession to leave at 9:15 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, from Braun Colonial Funeral Home Cahokia, Illinois to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis County, Missouri for a 9:45 a.m. burial service.
