Nora V. Oberlender, nee Wilson, 66, of East Carondelet, Illinois, born January 12, 1956 in Centreville, Illinois, died Monday, September 5, 2022, at her residence.

Nora was a retired cook from Cahokia Nursing and Rehab. She was an avid Bingo player.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Oberlender; a son, Fredrick "Junior" Wade, Jr.; her parents, Tommie and Ada, nee Watson, Wilson; a brother, Tommy "Buster" Wilson; and a nephew, Timothy Wilson.

Surviving are her brother, Mark Wilson of East Carondelet, IL; two sisters, Barbara (Richard) Barneko of Cahokia, IL and Norma (Dennis Barneko) Wilson of Dupo, IL; and a sister-in-law, Maria Wilson. Also surviving are her step children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private cremation will be held and a burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri at a later date, along with her husband.
