Nicholas "Nick" A. Shrum, 38, of Waterloo, IL, born December 3, 1982 in St. Louis, MO passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at his current residence.

Nick was employed by Shrum Inc. in Waterloo, IL. He enjoyed drawing, heavy metal music, riding his Harley and had a huge heart for his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willis Shrum; and an uncle, Kevin Stephenson.

Surviving are his daughters, Madison Bartley and Adilyn Shrum; Father, Greg Shrum of Waterloo, IL; mother, Karen Rue of Valley Park, MO; six sisters, Haunah (Kyle) Vanlaningham of Smithton, IL, Jessica (Corey) Wilcox, Heather (Ryan) Dudley, Brooke (Michael) Lynne, Ginna Rue and Angela Rue and his grandmother, Audrey Shrum of Columbia, IL. He was also a dear uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 noon at the funeral home.
