Nancy F. Lee, nee Heise, 85, of Cahokia, Illinois, born November 5, 1936 in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Nancy was a retired Executive Secretary from the Norfolk Southern Railroad in St. Louis, MO. She was member of the GFWC for over 40 years. She started in the Cahokia Jr. Women's Club and made her way up through various positions including Junior, District, State and made her way up the GFWC State President. She was a member of the former Maplewood Park Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Lee, Jr.; her parents, Henry and Clara, nee Faith, Heise; and a grandson, Paul Richard Reynolds.

Surviving are her children, Lynne (Paul) Reynolds of Warrenton, MO; Linda Elledge of Columbia, IL, and Richard Lee of Lebanon, IL; a brother, Larry Heise of California; a sister, Susan "Susie" (George) Teasley of Troy, IL; five grandchildren, Melissa Merrell, Michael (Jaime) Reynolds, Michele (Derick) Reynolds, Meghan (Matthew) Horvath, and Robin Lee; ten great grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan, Jayden, Kaylen, Luke, Tucker, Mikayla, Dylan, Blake, and Brett; and a great great grandson, Ryker. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
