Nancy J. Falk, nee Petko, 61, of Waterloo, Illinois, born November 6, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Nancy was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church - devoted to visiting the Blessed Sacrament. She was retired from Master Card in St. Charles, MO and formerly was employed by Amerisure Insurance Company in St. Louis, Missouri. After retirement she enjoyed spending time volunteering at Five Acres Animal Shelter and PALS, finding happy homes for animals in need.  She was also a talented and passionate artist,creating many special pieces for those that she loved.  Her legacy lives on through her artistry, her love for animals, her strength, and her kind hearted loving spirit.  She is now "Going Home" to be with the Good Lord.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rosemary, nee Smith. Petko.

Surviving are her sisters, Carol (Randle) Smith of Columbia, IL and Diane (William "Bill" Smith of St. Louis, MO; a niece, Jennifer Rose (Atanasio) de Erausquin; a nephew, Bryan William (Monika) Smith; great nieces and nephews, Blake, Leo, Kate, (and soon to be born, Sofia); and her best friend for over 40 years, Donna Miller of Florissant, MO.

Memorials may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter or Evelyn's House and may be received at the funeral home.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 with Father Paul Hamilton officiating.  Burial will be at Palmier Cemetery, Columbia, Illinois.
