Michael Timothy Reitzell, 32, of Denver, Colorado, born June 8, 1989 in Belleville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Reitzell.
Surviving are his mother, Marie (Bob) Donnelly of Jasper, IN; father, Tim Reitzell of Waterloo, IL; grandparents, Jim and Ann, nee Mongan, Wachtel; aunts, Tina Reitzell, Kathy (Jim) Decker, Elaine (Dick) Konradt, Cindy (Dave) Merz; uncles, Jim (Maggi) Wachtel Jr., Steve (Crystal) Wachtel, Bob (Jessica) Wachtel; cousins, Peggy, Joe, John, Beth, Jessica, Mary, Richard, Matthew, Christopher, Jacqueline, David (Samantha), Emily, Josh, Luke, Fred, Mallory, Samantha, Claire, Henry, Gus, Charlie, Angelina, Kristin, and baby Dinah; Stepsister Kim (Michael) Coles, Stepbrother Tom (Kate and children Aidan and Rachel) Donnelly.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Reitzell.

Visitation will be held on Monday. August 2, 2021 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 411 Palmer Road, Columbia, IL. Funeral mass will follow with Father Carl Scherrer officiating. Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery Belleville.
