Obituary

Michael Clay Reidelberger 63 of Columbia, IL, born November 21, 1956 in Sparta, IL, passed away on July 13, 2020 at his residence.
Michael retired from Granite City Steel, was a member of the Steelworkers Union, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Cahokia, IL for years. He loved rock n' roll and the blues, playing his guitars, and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents, Carrol & Betty Foertsch, Reidelberger, and grandparents.
Surviving are his sister Lynette (Jim) Stueber of Columbia, IL; brother Gale (Linda) Reidelberger of Pinckneyville, IL; two nieces, Rachel (Louis) Koester, Meagan (John) Walden; three nephews, Aaron Pinta, Shane (Jessica) Reidelberger, Scott (Tiffany) Reidelberger; great nieces and nephews, Rhiannon, Eva, Hayes, Esme, Emma, Olivia, Isaiah, Lucille, and Hattie; and many dear friends.
Memorials may be made to the Play It Forward Musical Foundation, a St. Louis based program with a mission to ensure each child in St. Louis is provided with the opportunity to discover his or her musical talents.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL. Services will begin at 11:30 am with John Walden officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in Rice, IL.
