Maxine L. Buchholz, nee Dalton, 93, 0f Waterloo, Illinois, born October 1, 1924, in St. Louis, Missouri, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at the deGreeff Hospice House at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mrs. Bucchholz was retired from the St. Louis County Parks Department.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry L. "Tom" Evans, Sr.; her third husband, Leo Buchholz; her parents, Jack and Hattie Mae, nee Darnell, Dalton; a brother, Melvin Dalton; and a sister, Marcella Webb;

Surviving are two sons, Steven Buchholz of Covington, LA and Henry "Tom" Evans, Jr. of Dupo, IL; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.

Friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Monsignor Carl Scherrer officiating. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Louis, Missouri.
