Maxine F. Beasley nee Brantley 89 of Cahokia, IL., born October 22, 1928 in East Prairie, MO., passed away on October 16, 2018 in Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Beasley was formerly employed by Christian Welfare Hospital as a nurses aid for many years, she is a member of the Salvation Army Church in Belleville, IL. where she volunteered for most any thing needed, and was very devoted to her loving family.

Preceded in death by her son Mark S. Beasley, her parents, William and Lorene Harrell, Brantley. 1 sister Gretna Kaestner and 1 brother William Brantley.

Surviving are her loving husband of 71 years Woodrow W. Beasley, her children Sharon (Mike) Cook of Belleville, IL., Vanessa Shaw of Waterloo, IL., Mike (Lisa) Beasley of East Carondelet, IL., Jim (Paula) Beasley of Waterloo, IL. 9 grandchildren, Mike (Tina), Tara (Terry), Ronnie (Erin), Kimberly (Joe), Summer (Matt), Sunny (Jeff), Steven (Katie), Christopher (Ammie) and Amber. 18 great grandchildren. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Thursday October 18, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL. Funeral service's will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Entombment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
