Maureen Elizabeth Poe, nee Moran, 84, of Cahokia, IL, born January 28, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on March 27, 2022 at her daughters residence surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was a avid dog lover.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Poe; her son, Jimmy Poe; two sisters, Judith Kohler and Eileen Moran; and three brothers, Art, Billy and Louie Moran.

Surviving are her children, Bobby Poe of Marquand, MO, Patti (John) Hofstetter of East Carondelet, IL, and Brian Poe of Dupo, IL; a sister, Patricia Dumey of St. Louis, MO; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Maureen was also a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Mixon officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with her husband.
