Mary K. Seger, nee McAnally, 74, of Cahokia, Illinois, born March 19, 1947 in Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was retired from U.S. Bank in St. Louis, MO. She had also worked as a warden for the St. Clair County Animal Control Department. She attended Guiding Light Ministries Church in East Carondelet, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annie, nee Comer, McAnally; a daughter, Rose Mary Seger; a sister, Susonnia E. McAnally; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Nelson.

Surviving are her children, Charles (Angie) Seger of Caseyville, IL, Joanna Beyer of Cahokia, IL, and Christina (Daniel) Christy of Kirkwood, MO; a brother, Robert (Patricia) McAnally of Millstadt, IL; a sister, Alice Nelson of Cahokia, IL; ten grandchildren, Melinda (Randy), Charles (Diana), Jimmie (Bradley), Donnie (Shawn), Patrick (Jessica), Heather (Andrew), Kelly (Courtney), Billie, John, and Steven; and 15 great grandchildren. She was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with her son, Pastor Charles Seger officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois
