Mary Joan Roark nee Weinzerl, 87 of Bloomsdale, MO, formerly of Bonne Terre, MO. Born November 1, 1933 in Jefferson City, MO, passed away on Sunday October 10, 2021 at her sons residence in Barnhart, MO.

Mary retired from Ralston Purina in St. Louis, MO. she was a former member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL, she loved camping, outdoor sports and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Jackie D. Roark, her parents Arthur & Hazel Weinzerl, brother Donald Weinzerl and a sister Dolores Stiften, Granddaughter Amy Lynn Hardin.

Surviving are her children; Robin (Phillip) Fox of Fairview Hgts, IL., Mike Roark of Barnhart, MO., Cynthia Foster of Columbia, IL., Christopher Roark of Bloomsdale, MO. Grandchildren David (Robin) Hardin, Tim Hardin, Jeffrey (Erica) Foster, Elaina (Christopher) Watson, Alicia Foster. Great grandchildren Kayla, Derrick, Eric, Eathan, Emmery. Great great grandchildren Elzian, Charlotte, Jeffrey II, Manuel, Chase. Mary was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Wednesday October 13, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd Columbia, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am at the funeral home with Father Carl Scherrer officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Natl. Cemetery.
