Mary Wilma Edwards,nee Herndon, 90, of Cahokia, IL., born April 2, 1928 in Gladden, MO., passed away on Thursday January 10, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Mary was a member of Maplewood Park Baptist Church, Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Edwards; two sons, Douglas and Randall Edwards; parents, James and Sylvia, nee Nivens, Herndon; two brothers, James and Vernon Herndon; sister, Mildred Spencer.

Surviving are her children, Donna Riggins of St. Louis, MO., Sandra (Richard) Rachell of Edwardsville, IL., Michael (Sue) Edwards of Marana, AZ., Sherri Edwards of Alpine, CA., Richard (Lisa) Edwards; ten grandchildren; great grandchildren. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Visitation on Monday January 14, 2019 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, IL. from 4 to 8 P.M.

Funeral service 10 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Graveside service 1:30 P.M. at North Lawn Cemetery, Salem, MO.
