Marjetta S. Sackett, nee Sutberry, 86, of Cahokia, IL., born August 8, 1931 in Greenfield, TN., passed away on Friday October 20, 2017 at Memorial Hospital Belleville, IL.

Marjetta was retired from Bank of America and a member of Maplewood Church of Christ, Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monival and Lyndell, nee Rachels, Sutberry; two brothers, Marshall Sutberry, Maurice "Sonny" (Cathran) Sutberry; sister Mondell (Johnny) Christakos.

Surviving are her children, Sheila (Kevin) Jones of Waterloo, IL., Larry Toon of Granite City, IL.; three grandchildren, Kyle Jones of Glen Carbon, IL., Kelsey (Derek Hartung) Jones of Swansea, IL. and Amy Toon of Granite City, IL..; one great grandchild. She was a dear aunt, cousin, neighbor and friend.

Visitation on Tuesday October 24, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, IL.

Funeral service Wednesday October 25, 2017 at the funeral home with Brother Tim Ruiz officiating. Burial in Valhalla Cemetery, Belleville.
