Marietta "Mary" A. Schultz, nee Beshears, 86, of Gillespie, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born July 27, 1936 in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Heritage Manor in Gillespie, Illinois.

Mary enjoyed cleaning houses and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Schultz; a son, Thomas M. Schultz, Sr.; her parents, John and Nora, nee Louvier, Beshears; and five brothers, David, Robert, Edward, Ronald, and Jack Beshears.

Surviving is her son, Donald Schultz of Gillespie, IL and a brother, Dennis Beshears. She was also a dear grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend

Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
