Marianne Moellering, nee Howell, 65, of Waterloo, Illinois born September 20, 1960 in Belleville, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Bria of Columbia Nursing and Rehab.

Marianne was a retired nurse from General Motors in Wentzville, Missouri.  She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo, IL.  She was a former longtime member of the National Guard Friends and Family at Jefferson Barracks.  She was very artistic and loved to color and draw. She also loved to quilt and enjoyed watching the Game Show Network.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Anna, nee Fieser Howell; a sister, Linda Howell; and her former husband, Clifford Moellering.

Surviving are her children, Betty (Scott) Dillow of Waterloo, IL, Clifford (Veronica) Moellering of Columbia, IL; and Amy (Tom) Hall of Carlisle, IA; a brother, Joseph Howell, Sr. of Waterloo, IL; three grandchildren, Brittni (Nicholas) Belcher and Annysia and Dominic Moellering; a great granddaughter, Mave McCann; and a nephew, Joseph (Amanda) Howell, Jr. of St. Louis, MO.  She was also a dear niece, cousin and friend.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m, with Monsignor Carl Scherrer officiating.  Burial will be in Sts Peter and Paul Cemetery, Waterloo, Illinois at a later date.
