Mae "Bernice" Cummins. nee Kelley, 98, of Cahokia, Illinois, born May 29, 1922 in Casa, Arkansas, died Friday, February 12, 2021 at Bria of Belleville Healthcare and Rehab.

She attended the Guiding Light Church in East Carondelet, IL. She was formerly employed by the Zenith Corp.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cummins; two brothers, Norman and Bud Kelley; and five sisters, Ellen McMillan, Ruby Palermo, Pauline Kirst, Jerelene Kuyendall, and Helen Kelley;

Surviving are her sons, Michael (Terry) Posey of Sauget, IL and Danny Posey of Cahokia; a brother, John Kelley of Booneville, MS; four grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer (Dennis), Danielle, and Adam; three great grandchildren, Mason and Grayson Gapsch and Kayla Nicole Posey; a special nephew, John McMillan and a special niece, Debra McMillan. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
