Macel "Paul" Permenter, 78 , of Cahokia, Illinois, born February 6, 1940 in Kennett, Missouri, died Friday, March 9, 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Paul was the owner/operator of Macel Permenter Glass Company formerly Rainbow Glass of St. Louis, MO. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 4596 both of Cahokia, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a step daughter, Antonina "Nina" Brummund;

Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Permenter, nee D'Angelo; his children, Macel, Kelly, Dean, and Craig Permenter and Paula Tremeterra; a step daughter, Kellie Mathes; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.



Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois.

Funeral procession to leave 11:40 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Illinois for 12:00 noon Mass with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
