LUCILLE BEQUETTE, nee Tucker, 94, of Columbia, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born September 12, 1922, in Braxton, Mississippi, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Columbia Rehab and Nursing Center.

Mrs. Bequette was retired from Guth Lighting of St. Louis, MO and WalMart in Cahokia, IL. She was a member of the IBEW Local 1 of St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bequette; a step son, Artie Bequette; her parents, Joe and Cora, nee McMaster, Tucker; and her brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her children, Larry (Glenda) Myers of Cahokia, IL, Sharon (Thomas) Doering of St. Louis, MO; Terry (Lisa) Myers of Festus, MO; step daughter, Sandy (Larry) Dudley of Maeystown, IL; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
