Lori A. (Hunter) Laramore , 55, of Columbia, IL, born September 7, 1966 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family

Lori graduated from Cahokia High School and graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO. She worked as an obstetric nurse at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, IL for almost 30 years and finished her nursing career at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO

On November 23,1985 Lori was united in Marriage to Forrest Rolland Laramore at Maplewood Park Baptist Church in Cahokia, Illinois. To this union two children were born, Chad Rolland and Cole Ryan Laramore

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Hunter and sister, Tudy Morrisette. Surviving are her husband, Forrest Laramore; two sons, Chad (Tiffany) Laramore of Dupo, IL and Cole (Katelyn) Laramore of Waterloo, IL; mother, Lee Hunter of Columbia, IL; two sisters, Jill Hunter of Columbia, IL and Bobbie Jordan of OK; two grandchildren, Carter and Chloe; nephew, Devin Hunter; niece, Daisia Hunter; best friend, Lana Taylor. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Lori loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling, hiking and kayaking with her husband Forrest. She also loved working in her yard, planting and tending oriental plants and flowers, and spending time in the family cabin, located on the beautiful Black River in Lesterville Mo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral Service will follow with Rolland Laramore officiating.
