Lois Faye Dudley nee Smith 94 of Cahokia, IL. born March 15, 1928 in Puxico, MO, passed away on October 7, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Lois was a hairdresser at her own beauty salon in Cahokia for many years. She was a member of Maplewood Park Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL and was active in White Shrine and Eastern Star. Lois loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially at the holidays.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Dudley; son, Larry R. Dudley and his wife Sandra; a brother, Mark Smith; and sisters, Vela Hopkins, Ruth Evans, Nadine Barnett, and Jeanette Elmore.

Surviving are her daughter, Janice (Robert) Barton of Red Bud, IL; grandchildren, Mike (Kelly) Dudley of Dupo, IL, Tracy Dudley of Maeystown, IL, Jennifer (Ben) Goessling of Fults, IL, and Melissa (Dave) Collins of Wentzville, MO; and great grandchildren, Brittney, Bryce, Norah, Evelyn and baby girl to be. Lois was also a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Tuesday October 11, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12 noon at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Cory Hartz officiating. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Puxico City Cemetery in Puxico, MO.
