Lloyd Louis Wilkenson, 85, of Cahokia, Illinois, born September 4, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Monday, December 2, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Lloyd was retired from Edison Brothers Shoe Co. in St. Louis, MO.  He also retired from the Village of Cahokia Pool and Rink.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and was an avid sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Wilkenson, nee Williams;his parents; and his twin brother, Floyd Wilkenson.

Surviving are his son, Chris Wilkenson of St. Charles, MO; three grandchildren, Tanner, Gracie, and Sofia Wilkenson; and a nephew, Al (Lisa) Carter of Cahokia, IL.  He was also a dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Roger Reid Officiating.  Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
