Lisa Marie Sherrod, 47, of Cuba, MO died at 10:09 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at St. Louis University Hospital. She was born on July 5, 1973 in Belleville, Illinois to Jerry and Alena Sherrod.

Lisa was a homemaker who loved to craft, and her favorite holiday was Halloween. She enjoyed making costumes for all children. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sharon Lindhorst and James and Wanda Sherrod; parents, Jerry and Alena Sherrod; sister, Stephanie Rosemann; and spouse Ronald Jones.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Jones of Elsberry, MO; daughter, Chasity Jones of Dayton, OH; granddaughter, Isabella Jones of Dayton, OH; sisters Jaime Sherrod of Carbondale, IL, Stacy Butler of Columbia, IL; brother, Michael Sherrod of Maryland Heights, MO; niece, Alena Sherrod of Maryland Heights, MO; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on April 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home in Cahokia, IL.
