Lawrence Frost, 90, of Cahokia, Illinois, born  November 13, 1935 in DuBois, Illinois, died Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Lawrence was retired from Alvey Conveyor in Olivette, MO. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 688 of St. Louis, MO.  He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, IL.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius Frost and Theresa, nee Marszalek, Ratajczyk; his step father, Edward Ratajczyk; and 12 siblings.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Bernice Frost, nee Kuberski; his children, Donna (John) Schwartz of Florissant, MO, Jeffrey (Diane) Frost of Granite City, IL, Gary (Pamela) Frost of Columbia, IL, Patricia (Ken) Wilkerson of Shiloh, IL, and Patrick (Priscilla) Frost of St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Eileen Knapp of Du Quoin, IL and Betty Decker of Tamaroa, IL; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  Lawrence was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of Mass intentions to Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  Funeral procession to leave at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026 from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Illinois for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
