Lawrence "Larry" E. Miller, Sr., 78, of Cahokia, Illinois, born September 19, 1945 in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Monday, January 22, 2024 at Bria of Columbia Nursing and Rehab.

Larry was formerly employed by Obear-Nester Glass Co. in East St. Louis, IL and retired from Spectrulite Consortium in Madison, IL>

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman J. (Sr.) and Nora Cecilia, nee Alvey, Miller; a brother, Norman J. Miller, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Karen D. Miller; and a brother-in-law, Frank W. Braun.

Surviving are his sons, Larry Miller, Jr. of New Athens, IL, Paul Miller of Fairview Heights, IL, and Timothy Miller of Bethalto, IL; a brother, Michael (Becky) Miller of Huntington,IN; and two sisters, Emily J. Braun of Cahokia, IL and Marilyn (Roland) Humphrey of Joliet, IL. He was also a dear grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. to Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, Illinois, for an 11:30 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial, with Father Evaristus Akazeube officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
