Laurel Ann Tutor, nee Malin, 59, of Dupo, Illinois, born September 2, 1962, in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Although she had many hardships in her life, she had a soft loving heart, especially for those in need and animals.

She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Tutor and her father, Glenn Malin.

Surviving are her husband, Loyd Ward Tutor, Sr.; her mother, Edith Malin-Rice, nee Foster of Dupo, IL; a step son, Loyd Ward Tutor, Jr. of Florida; a step daughter, Tina Tutor of Florida; her siblings, Linda (Jim Brann) Steele of Ft. Myers, Florida, Danny (Debbie) Malin of Dupo, IL, Mark (Tammy) Malin of Bee Spring, KY, Mike (Kenna) Malin of Bee Spring, KY and Darryl (Cindy) Malin of Belleville, IL; and six nieces. She was also a dear cousin and friend.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private cremation was to be held.
