Kyann Renee Mills 24 of Cahokia, IL, born October 7, 1996 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Clayton, MO.

Kyann was a 2015 Collinsville High School graduate. She loved playing sports. She was formerly employed by Marco's Pizza in Collinsville, IL. She was also involved in youth groups.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Kimberly, nee Hood, Parker, and her great grandfathers, Hershel Hood and Earl (Lucille) Hochstatter.

Surviving are her father, Kelly R. Mills of Valmeyer, IL; her mother, Stephanie Mills, nee Parker of Cahokia, IL; one sister, Savanah "BooBoo" Mills of Granite City, IL; paternal grandmother, Earlene (Steve) Mills-Burke of Valmeyer, IL; paternal grandfather, Michael R. Mills I of Poplar Bluff, MO; great grandmother, Carol Hood of Cahokia, IL; five uncles, Michael R. (Rebeca) Mills II of Columbia, IL, James (Amber) Parker of Lenzburg, IL, Thomas (Alyssa) Parker of Lenzburg, IL, Brandon Parker of Cahokia, IL and Andrew Parker of Caseyville, IL; two aunts, Rachel (Daniel) Naney of St. Charles, MO and Sarah Parker of Cahokia, IL; her loving pets, Bane, Momma and others. Kyann was also a dear cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherman Smith officiating. Private cremation to follow. Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. was entrusted with the care of Kyann.
