Kirsten "Kit" Elise York, 63, of Collinsville, IL, born February 25, 1955 in Alton, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Kit graduated from Marquette High School in Alton, IL. She loved to spend time with her son's family and helping her sister, Kendell, at her office with taxes, bookkeeping as well as doing puzzles and arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Berkley Francis and Blanche Elizabeth, nee Voiles, York Jr.

Surviving are her son, Damion Francis (Tanya) Wadman of Cahokia, IL; five sisters, Kristine Elizondo of Kansas City, MO, Karen York of Alton, IL, Kyle Barnes of Trenton, MO, Kendell York of Caseyville, IL, Kamille McPeek of Georgia; a brother, Berkley York III of Georgia; two grandsons, Dylan David Paul and Dalton James Berkley Wadman.
