Columbia
Kimberly "Kim" Lynnette Johnson, nee Hale, 58, of Columbia, Illinois,
born September 27, 1966 in Granite City, Illinois, passed away on
Friday, February 7, 2025 at Evelyn's House in St. Louis, Missouri.
Kim was a retired pharmacist from United Scripts in St. Louis, MO. She
enjoyed a number of artistic hobbies including making jewelry,
beading, painting, and freely shared those things with others. She
also used her talents to help support an organization, Three Little
Birds 4 Life, in Collinsville, IL, as she was able. Kim loved life and
was the family social director, always looking for fun things to do
and roping in as many friends and family as she could find to enjoy
along with her. She enjoyed traveling as much as possible (especially
to any place with mountains or beaches) and organized a number of
family cruises and vacations. Kim also took great pleasure in loving
and pampering numerous furry four-legged creatures throughout her
life. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Daisy Hale
and Alvie and Elsie Langston.
Surviving are her loving husband of 31 years, Paul Johnson; her
parents, Larry and Linda, nee Langston, Hale of Wentzville, MO; a
brother, Douglas (Jennifer) Hale of Warrenton, MO; two nephews,
William and Thomas Hale; mother and father-in-law, Carol and Paul
Johnson Sr. of Valmeyer, IL; brother-in-law, Jason Johnson of Valley
Park, MO; double cousins, Alice Langston of Edwardsville, IL, Daisy
(Victor) Juarez of Philadelphia, PA, Vaughn Langston and Laurie Scott
of Glendale, AZ; and a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She
was also a dear friend to many.
Memorials may be made to Evelyn's House in St. Louis, MO and 3 LIttle
